My name is Sandi Smoker and I serve as Mental Health Program Supervisor and Counsellor with the Pender Islands Health Centre. Originally from Nanaimo, I moved to Vancouver to complete my MA, then worked as a Certified Spiritual Care Practitioner at St. Paul’s Hospital in Vancouver, specializing in acute care psychiatry, geriatric medicine, critical care and palliative care. I am a watercolour artist and an Art Therapist candidate with the Vancouver Art Therapy Institute, where I am learning to integrate the arts in my clinical practice.
